Best 15 Home Remedies For Acne And Pimples


One of the worst common skin problems is "ACNE", we all hate having acnes or pimples and in the same time we all have or used to have them and this is very natural because of our hormones or maybe our life-style routine or even cause of the weather....
I decided to do some research about easy "home-remedies to get rid of acne", and I tried alot of them, so today I came with  the best ways that I will share with you in this post. Maybe not all of these ways will work with you, but I'm sure you will find at least one remedy that will help you and make you so happy.

1- Garlic

A very effective way to get rid of acne is GARLIC, it works like magic in few days only, Massage garlic on your face few times a day, You will notice the difference in few days

2- Baking Soda

Baking soda contains antiseptic and anti inflammatory properties which helps to heal the acne, It balances the ph level and makes the skin healthy and glow by absorbing the excess oil and exfoliate the skin.Take 1 – 2 tablespoons of baking soda and make it like a thin paste by adding water to it, Mix it well and apply this as a mask on the affected areas of the skin for 15 – 20 minutes and then wash it water.

3- Honey And Cinnamon

honey is antimicrobial and extremely nourishing for the skin, and cinnamon helps bring circulation to the skin to heal it faster.
Take some honey and grownd cinnamon and mix them very well, apply it directly on the acne and leave it for hours or all the night if you can, you will notice the difference in 3 or 4 days.

4-Toothpaste

Toothpaste is another way to get rid of pimples. Apply toothpaste on your pimples and leave it there for hours or overnight. When you wake up, wash it off. This is very effective in getting rid of pimples.

5- Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil has natural antibacterial properties that help to treat the cystic acne naturally. It penetrates into the skin to unblock the sebaceous glands, disinfect pores and dry out the blemishes.
Take a cotton swab and pour few tea tree oil drops in it. Dab the oil gently onto the affected area, Let it be on for few hours or overnight, Wash it off in the next morning with lukewarm water which reduces the swelling and redness.

6- Egg White

Egg white contains proteins and riboflavin which helps in clearing the acne cysts and makes your skin smooth and soft. It is helpful for overall health of your skin.

Take an egg and separate the white from the yellow
Apply this on the affected skin pores and leave it for about 5 – 8 minutes
Rinse it off with water and repeat it regularly every week.

7- Aloe Vera

Apply aloe vera gel on the pimples. Leave it on the skin for a few minutes, and then wash with clean water. It can reduce the redness and inflammation and accelerate the process of healing.

8- Egg yolk

Take an egg, seperate the egg yolk, mix it with a folk and use a brush to apply on your face, leave it till it dries it and wash with water, repeat this every week.

9- Yogurt and tumeric mask

Take 1 tbs of yogurt and 1 tbs of tumeric, mix them together very well, apply the mask on your face and leave it for 20 minutes, and then wash it with water.

10-  Aspirin face mask

Make a facial mask using aspirin, honey and water. Mix a small amount of aspirin with little water. Add honey to the mixture. Honey kills bacteria and moisturizes the skin. Apply the mask on the affected area and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse well with warm water.

11- Ice pack


This is effective if you have only 1 or 2 pimples. Place an ice pack on the pimple until you feel freezing. Do this for about 20 minutes and 3-4 times a day. The coldness of ice will increase the blood flow in the affected area. More blood flow means more oxygen to the cells and tissues and they start rapid recovery.

12- Steam

Steam can open up your skin pores, which prevents them from being clogged which is one of the main reasons for pimples. Steam also moisturizes and detoxifies your skin.

13- Cucumber

Cucumber helps to reduce inflammation and redness. Mix a small amount of finely grated cucumber with lemon juice and apply on the affected area.

14- Lemon 

Lemon has natural astringent and antibacterial properties. It acts as an exfoliant that helps to remove dead skin cells faster and prevent clogged pores to give relief from cystic acne.
Peel a lemon and rub it on pimples for sometime. Do it several times a day.

15- Potatoes

Potato juice helps to decompose the oil in the skin pores to reduce the cystic acne. It has the essential vitamins that help to reduce the redness and inflammation the skin. Take a small and clean potato and peel it off, extract its juice with the help of blender, apply this juice on the affected part and leave it for 15 minutes, wash it off with normal water and repeat it to get better results.

One head of cabbage,
3 large green onions,
1 or 2 garlic cloves
3 green peppers,
2 tomatoes ,
2 Carrots,
1 bunch of celery,

12 cups of water

Cut the vegetables and put them all together to the pot, cover with water 

Let soup simmer until vegetables are tender.
You can mix the vegetables if you want (I prefer to mix them)


You should eat healthy in these 7 days, drink too much water, take this soup as much as you want, at least at lunch and dinner, you can add salads, fruits, vegetables, chicken.. eat all what's healthy
Quit the bread and the sweets, drink green tea and coffee

And as we said, you can have this soup once every month, and the rest of the month, you must eat healthy as well
I tried this soup by myself, and I let my friends try it too and we're so happy after this
